The eyes are drawn to colors that jump out from the background. In Skopelos the most noticible colors that pull me in are those of the bouganville vines. Even from in town, the bouganville flowers draw my eye up the hill to Christo's apartments, where they can be seen distinctivly even from such a distance. When walking down to town, the flowers lead me different paths towards town and back up the hill each time, chasing their bright colors and the paths of pink and purple flowers littered on the stairs.
